She is proud to be pregnant and talking on her cell phone about it to her friends. I was talkning to a mother of two recently and she expressed the joy of motherhood. Nothing moved me so much to see a lady proud to be pregnant and carrying perhaps, the next teacher, the next model or the next lawyer into the world. While pregnancy is not a requirement to happiness, it is a different pride one enjoys when she knows that she is responsible for bringing a living being into the world. It is even more rewarding to know that the man in her life is someone she loves and someone who loves her. Can you be proud to be pregnant? What do you think can make you so proud? Is it the joy of expectancy or the joy of the responsibilities or the new level you are experiemcing in your relationship?
